About the role

We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our dynamic team at our Camp Aguinaldo Quezon City Metro Manila office. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in the successful planning, execution, and completion of construction projects. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is integral to our project management operations and offers the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging construction projects whilst developing your career in construction project management.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring construction projects from inception through completion
• Conduct site inspections and surveys to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards
• Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, daily site logs, and as-built drawings
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution
• Monitor project costs and budgets to identify variances and recommend corrective actions
• Support the management of project timelines and assist in identifying potential delays or risks
• Conduct quality control inspections and ensure adherence to engineering specifications and building codes
• Liaise between design teams, construction teams, and clients to ensure clear communication and project alignment
• Participate in site meetings and safety briefings to promote a culture of safety on construction sites
• Support the resolution of technical issues and recommend practical solutions to site challenges

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• Relevant experience in construction project management, site engineering, or a similar role within the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations in the Philippines
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams
• Physical capability to work on construction sites and withstand challenging outdoor environments
• A valid driver's license is an advantage
