Project Engineer

About the role

Leadership role in project planning, scheduling, and execution for semiconductor plant projects and piping works. You will develop and manage comprehensive project plans, encompassing scope, budget, timelines, and resource allocation, and lead project teams with guidance, direction, and technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, encompassing scope, budget, timelines, and resource allocation
• Lead project teams, providing guidance, direction, and technical expertise
• Apply extensive knowledge of semiconductor plant construction, piping systems, and construction management to ensure projects align with industry standards and regulations
• Collaborate with engineering teams to review and approve design specifications, ensuring they meet client requirements and safety standards
• Oversee on-site construction activities, emphasizing safety, quality, and adherence to project plans
• Foster effective communication and coordination with subcontractors, suppliers, and construction crews to maintain project schedules and budgets
• Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure project deliverables surpass client expectations
• Conduct inspections and audits to verify compliance with project specifications and industry standards
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a key point of contact throughout project lifecycles

Requirement:

• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in Bulk Gas / Specialty Gas
• Diploma or Degree in Business Management / Engineering or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret site blueprint and 2D/3D drawings with detailed understanding
• Strong Communication Skill
• Able to read, speak and write in English and Chinese
• Able to start immediately or within a short notice period
• Based at Tampines project site for at least 2 years
