Project Engineer

We’re hiring a Project Engineer at our Medbio facility in Orchard Park, NY .

This is a hands-on engineering and project-management role responsible for leading tooling and product-launch projects from kickoff through successful production qualification. The Project Engineer will work closely with Engineering, Quality, Tooling, Operations, Sales, Customer Service, and external partners to keep projects moving, manage risks, solve technical challenges, and ensure customer launch expectations are met.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Leading assigned tooling and new-product launch projects

• Developing project plans, timelines, milestones, and action items

• Tracking project scope, schedule, risks, resources, and deliverables

• Coordinating cross-functional project reviews

• Supporting injection-molding, tooling, process-development, and validation activities

• Identifying project risks and leading mitigation efforts

• Supporting products as they transition from launch into production

• Facilitating post-project reviews and continuous-improvement activities

We’re looking for someone with a strong technical foundation, excellent project-management skills, and experience working in a manufacturing environment. Experience with plastic injection molding, injection mold tooling, medical devices, or regulated manufacturing is especially valuable.
