Job Description

A. Macalindong Group of Companies is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Project Engineer to coordinate and monitor construction projects. The role covers technical drawings, permits, quantity take-offs, estimates, project documentation, site activities, and progress monitoring to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor construction activities, schedules, and project progress.
• Prepare and revise AutoCAD drawings, SketchUp models, as-built drawings, and other technical plans.
• Conduct site measurements and check actual site conditions against approved drawings.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, material estimates, and cost estimates.
• Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and project costs.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and other project personnel.
• Process and follow up building permits, occupancy permits, and other construction-related approvals with OBO and government offices.
• Prepare project reports, progress updates, and maintain complete technical documentation.
• Ensure construction work follows approved plans, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Identify project issues or discrepancies and recommend appropriate solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Preferably a Licensed Engineer.
• At least 3–4 years of relevant construction or project engineering experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and knowledgeable in SketchUp.
• Knowledgeable in quantity take-off, BOQ, material estimation, and cost monitoring.
• Familiar with building permits, OBO coordination, and construction-related government requirements.
• Able to read, interpret, prepare, and revise engineering and construction drawings.
• Knowledge of Philippine construction standards and building codes is an advantage.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Good communication, coordination, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work on-site and travel to project locations when needed.

Salary

₱25,000–₱35,000 (depending on experience)
