Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our Engineering & Infrastructure Development division at Jurong Port. In this role, you will lead end-to-end engineering projects, marine terminal upgrades, berth expansions, and automated material handling infrastructure development across our multi-purpose port facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Delivery: Oversee civil, structural, and mechanical engineering projects from initial design and feasibility through procurement, construction, commissioning, and operational handover.
Infrastructure & Automation Upgrades: Lead technical workstreams for berth rehabilitation, heavy cargo handling systems, conveyor automation, and green port decarbonization initiatives.
Contractor & Vendor Governance: Manage EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractors, equipment vendors, and engineering consultants to ensure compliance with quality, cost, schedule, and safety benchmarks.
Regulatory Compliance & WSH: Ensure all engineering works comply with Singapore’s Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act, Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) regulations, and BCA structural safety standards.
Stakeholder Alignment: Coordinate cross-functionally with port operations, marine services, equipment maintenance teams, and external municipal authorities to minimize operational disruption during construction.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Port & Coastal Engineering, or a related discipline. Professional Engineer (PE) registration with PEB Singapore is advantageous.
Experience: 6–10+ years of progressive project engineering experience in port infrastructure, heavy civil developments, marine construction, or industrial logistics facilities.
Technical Mastery: Deep proficiency in structural design review, site management, contract administration (e.g., REDAS, FIDIC, SIA contracts), and project planning software (MS Project, Primavera P6, or AutoCAD).
Operational Command: Strong working knowledge of heavy lifting equipment, bulk cargo handling systems, structural health monitoring, and marine terminal operations.
Leadership & Communication: Excellent problem-solving capabilities, strong contractor management presence, and executive stakeholder presentation skills.

Pay: $8,000.00 - $13,000.00 per month
