Project Engineer

Job Summary

Responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and implementing auxiliary works and security system projects from design and installation through testing, commissioning, and project completion. Ensures that all works are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and monitor the installation and implementation of auxiliary and security systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Public Address System, Intercom, Structured Cabling, SMATV, and other ELV systems.
• Review and interpret design drawings, technical specifications, shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and other project disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.
• Supervise site activities and ensure that installations comply with approved drawings, project specifications, applicable codes, and safety requirements.
• Prepare and review material take-offs, project schedules, work programs, and technical documentation.
• Conduct site inspections, identify technical issues, and provide appropriate engineering solutions.
• Coordinate testing, inspection, commissioning, and troubleshooting of auxiliary and security systems.
• Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, equipment, and productivity to ensure timely completion.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, inspection requests, punch lists, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers regarding equipment delivery, technical requirements, warranties, and system integration.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, test reports, and handover documents.
• Ensure proper integration of security systems with other building systems where applicable.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical updates, progress reports, and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with quality control, occupational health and safety, and project requirements.
• Support project closeout, final inspection, client acceptance, and turnover activities.

Typical Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Experience in auxiliary works, ELV systems, security systems, or MEP/building construction projects.
• Knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Structured Cabling, PA/BGM, Intercom, and related systems.

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
