Project Engineer

We are looking for a Project Engineer to oversee and support the execution of Blueshift Energy Inc.'s solar installation projects. This role will serve as a key point of contact for installers and team leads, helping resolve site concerns, coordinate field teams, and ensure projects are completed on time and according to required standards.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, communicative, and capable of working closely with field teams. The role will also be responsible for providing technical guidance, training installers, documenting site concerns, and coordinating feedback with the Engineering team to reduce recurring errors and project rework.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor and coordinate the daily execution of assigned solar installation projects to ensure timely completion.
• Serve as the main point of contact for installers and team leads regarding site concerns, technical questions, and operational issues.
• Provide immediate support in resolving site bottlenecks, layout concerns, material shortages, and other field-related issues.
• Coordinate closely with field crews to keep installation activities aligned with project requirements and timelines.
• Supervise and guide installers and team leads to maintain proper installation practices and work quality.
• Conduct regular training and coaching sessions for installers covering proper mounting, wiring standards, safety protocols, and installation procedures.
• Monitor installation quality and identify recurring errors or concerns that may affect project completion.
• Coordinate with the Engineering team regarding site layout, design concerns, and installation issues.
• Prepare and submit Post-Project Design Feedback Reports after project completion to document site issues and recommendations.
• Maintain proper documentation of site concerns, solutions, recurring issues, and lessons learned.
• Provide feedback to the Engineering team to help reduce design and layout-related rework.
• Maintain clear and constructive communication with installers, team leads, engineers, and management.
• Address field concerns promptly to minimize project delays, installation errors, and unnecessary costs.
• Promote proper coordination, accountability, and teamwork among field personnel.
• Ensure that assigned projects meet established quality, safety, and completion standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a PRC Registered Electrical Engineer (REE).
• Proven experience in Project Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Solar Installation, Construction, or a related field is an advantage.
• Experience working with field teams, installers, or construction crews is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of electrical installation and project execution.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to supervise, guide, and train installers and team leads.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve site-related problems efficiently.
• Organized and able to manage multiple project concerns and priorities.
• High standards for work quality, safety, and project execution.
• Willing to conduct regular on-site field visits and outdoor deployment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Engineering, Operations, installers, and management.
• Proactive and accountable when handling project concerns and responsibilities.
• Experience in solar energy or renewable energy projects is an advantage.
