Project Engineer

• Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned engineering projects from initiation to completion
• Ensure all project activities comply with applicable engineering codes, standards, QA/QC policies, safety regulations, and project specifications
• Coordinate and communicate with clients to understand their requirements, provide project updates, and represent the company during site meetings and inspections
• Perform overall quality control of project execution, including monitoring budgets, schedules, work plans, and personnel performance, and provide regular progress reports to management
• Review engineering drawings, technical documents, and project deliverables, and implement appropriate corrective actions when necessary
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to project team members while providing technical guidance and mentorship
• Work closely with the Project Manager, contractors, suppliers, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor project progress, verify work quality, and ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications
• Identify project risks, resolve technical issues, and recommend practical solutions to keep projects on schedule and within budget
• Prepare project documentation, reports, material requests, and other engineering-related requirements
• Ensure proper coordination of manpower, equipment, and materials required for project implementation
• Perform other engineering and project-related duties as assigned by management

Must-have preferences:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• Preferably a Licensed Engineer (PRC)
• At least 2–5 years of experience in project management, construction, or engineering project supervision
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, project planning, QA/QC procedures, and safety standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD (knowledge of MS Project or Primavera is an advantage)
• Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Willing to travel and conduct regular site inspections within Metro Manila and provincial project locations
• Valid Professional Driver’s License (Restriction Code B1, B, or equivalent) is an advantage
• Safety Certificate (COSH or equivalent) is an advantage
