Project Engineer Job Summary

The Project Engineer will be responsible for managing and supporting real estate development projects of the company, assists in planning, implementation, and successful delivery of the project’s objectives and activities. The role involves project management and administration, coordinating between technical engineering works and manpower managemant, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. The Project Engineer will serve as the key liaison among the company leadership and management, technical engineering teams, project management team, contractors, and end clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of project activities
• Coordinate engineering tasks, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
• Monitor project progress and report on cost, schedule, and performance metrics
• Review designs, calculations, and technical submittals to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Support procurement activities, including material take-offs and vendor evaluations
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, safety, standards, and quality requirements
• Participate in site visits, inspections, testing, commissioning and hand over activities
• Identify project risks and support the development of mitigation strategies
• Prepare progress reports and change documentation.
• Ensures and Implements data security & privacy practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field
• Certificate or diploma in Project Management
• Licensed and Practicising Civil Engineer
• 2–5 years of experience in project engineering or project management
• Strong understanding of project management principles
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Familiarity with relevant industry codes, standards, and best practices
• Knowledge of structural engineering and material costing
