Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor project activities from start to completion
• Supervise site teams, technicians and subcontractors, and ensure work follows drawings and specifications
• Prepare project schedules, material requirements and progress reports
• Review drawings, BOQs and technical documents, and prepare quantity take-offs
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers and vendors on project requirements
• Monitor project costs, manpower and materials to avoid delays and wastage
• Carry out site inspections to check quality, workmanship and compliance
• Prepare and submit material approvals, work inspection requests and handover documents
• Resolve technical issues and site problems promptly
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies and local authority regulations
• Maintain project records, site reports and documentation
• Support the preparation of variations, invoices and final accounts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering
• Minimum 2-6 years of experience as a Project Engineer or Site Engineer in MEP or facilities-related projects
• Good knowledge of project planning, drawings and site execution
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; MS Project is an advantage
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills

Pay: Up to AED10,000.00 per month
