The Role
You will own each project you're assigned, from kickoff to final handover and closeout. You will be responsible for scope, the project timeline, quality and safety. You will also be the main contact for the client, consultant, suppliers and subcontractors. You report directly to the Operations Manager.

What You'll Do

Planning & Kickoff

• Review the contract, BOQ, specs and drawings. Confirm scope and flag gaps or risks before work starts.
• Lead the internal handover from estimating/sales, and run the kickoff meeting with the client and consultant.
• Prepare the baseline schedule, resource plan and procurement plan.

Project Timeline Ownership

• Own the project schedule from start to finish. You are accountable for hitting milestones and the completion date.
• Break the baseline schedule into weekly look-ahead plans for site teams and subcontractors.
• Track actual progress against the plan and spot slippage early.
• Build and carry out recovery plans when the project falls behind, such as resequencing work, adding manpower or expediting materials.
• Identify critical-path activities and long-lead items, and make sure they don't hold up the project.
• Document delays caused by the client, consultant or other trades, and raise them on time.
• Keep the schedule updated, and report any risk to the completion date to the Operations Manager right away.

Engineering & Submittals

• Prepare material submittals, technical data sheets, method statements and shop drawings.
• Track approvals, respond to consultant comments and manage RFIs.
• Verify designs and quantities for the electrical and mechanical systems on each project.

Procurement

• Raise material requests, chase supplier lead times and check that deliveries match approved submittals.
• Coordinate material receiving, storage and issuing to site.

Site Execution

• Plan and supervise daily work by installation teams and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with other trades and the main contractor to avoid clashes and delays.
• Enforce quality standards, raise inspection requests and close out NCRs.
• Enforce HSE rules on site and report incidents immediately.

Testing, Commissioning & Handover

• Plan and carry out testing and commissioning with the client and consultant.
• Drive snag lists to closure.
• Prepare as-builts, O&M manuals, warranties and client training.
• Obtain handover and completion certificates and close the project file.

Reporting

• Send weekly progress reports covering progress against schedule, risks and issues.
• Attend client and consultant meetings, and issue minutes and action lists.
• Keep project records complete and organized.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Active Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership
• Fluent English, spoken and written

Preferred

• 3–5+ years as a Project or Site Engineer in MEP contracting
• Hands-on experience delivering electrical and/or mechanical installation projects
• Experience with retrofit projects in occupied buildings
• MS Project or Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and strong Excel skills
• Knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC)
• PMP or a similar certification

Pay: ﷼6,000.00 - ﷼8,000.00 per month
