Project Engineer

Design & Engineering:

• Create layouts and detailed engineering for construction projects that stay within the scope, schedule, and budget of the project.
• Create professional concept drawings, flow diagrams, and construction drawings in AutoCAD or Inventor or other design software.
• Manage out-sourced engineering tasks.
• Communicate design details to drafting and project management to ensure efficient execution of the project.
• Respond to RFIs for ongoing projects.

Project Management:

• Maintain an excellent working relationship with the customer throughout the duration of construction projects.
• Assist project managers with technical support they need while they manage the scope of work, budget, and schedule of construction projects.
• Assist project managers with change orders and eliminate scope creep on construction projects.
• Exceed customer expectations on all projects.
• Analyze performance on completed projects and store results for use in future estimating efforts.
• Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• 3+ years experience in construction desired
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Applied Science, or related field
• Able to read architectural plans and develop cost estimates
• Strong understanding of construction processes
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
• Able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
• Impeccable communication and problem-solving skills

Compensation based on experience. Benefits eligible for fulltime employees after 60-days.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
