Project Engineer

An established and respected Tier 2 civil construction company is looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join its delivery team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Engineer who wants to work on complex 3 Waters and deep drainage projects, taking ownership across project delivery while working alongside experienced construction professionals.

The Role:

You'll be involved across the full project lifecycle, supporting the successful delivery of technically challenging civil infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and managing engineering aspects of civil construction projects
• Working closely with Project Managers, Site Managers and subcontractors
• Managing project documentation, programmes, costs and variations
• Supporting procurement, programming and construction methodologies
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to specification
• Providing technical support and resolving construction issues on site

About You:

We're looking for an experienced and technically capable Project Engineer with:

• At least 3 years' experience working as a Project Engineer within the civil construction industry
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
• Experience across 3 Waters, drainage or underground infrastructure
• Strong understanding of construction methodology, project controls and commercial processes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a project team
• A practical, solutions-focused approach to project delivery

What's on Offer:

Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 + company vehicle + benefits

You'll join a well-established Tier 2 contractor with a strong pipeline of infrastructure work and the opportunity to work on challenging projects that will further develop your technical and project management capability.
