Project Engineer

About the role

Responsible for managing and executing customized UPS projects from project handover through final delivery. The role requires a result-oriented and proactive professional with strong technical, project management, and commercial capabilities to ensure successful project execution, optimized engineering solutions, and on-time delivery with minimal project delays.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage an effective project handover process from Sales to Engineering and across all departments until project completion
• Design and develop customized UPS solutions in accordance with customer specifications and applicable international standards
• Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely execution and delivery
• Prepare and review engineering documents including drawings, BOMs, technical datasheets, test reports, and operation manuals
• Attend customer kick-off meetings and provide technical consultancy throughout project execution
• Coordinate project activities with customers, Customer Service, Procurement, Production, Testing, and other internal stakeholders
• Deliver optimized and cost-effective technical solutions while maintaining quality and reliability
• Support Production and Test Bay teams in troubleshooting, system design issues, and testing requirements
• Participate in new product development and continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor project risks and proactively resolve technical and execution issues to minimize delays and achieve successful project completion
• If an operational necessity exists, tasks can also be assigned to the employee outside his / her area of responsibility

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project engineering, UPS, power systems, or related industries
• Strong knowledge of UPS systems, electrical design, and international standards
• Good project management, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams
