Project Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Residential Construction to plan, coordinate, and manage residential construction projects from pre-construction through completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and monitor residential construction projects from initiation to handover.
• Develop project schedules, milestones, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
• Supervise site activities and ensure construction follows approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress against the planned schedule and take corrective action when required.
• Manage project costs, budgets, variations, purchase requirements, and contractor bills.
• Review drawings, BOQs, material specifications, and construction methodologies.
• Ensure timely procurement and availability of construction materials.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.
• Identify and resolve construction-related issues, delays, and coordination conflicts.
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, statutory requirements, and safety regulations.
• Monitor workmanship and implement quality-control procedures.
• Prepare and maintain project reports, schedules, progress updates, and documentation.
• Manage client communication and provide regular updates on project status.
• Coordinate testing, snagging, rectification, commissioning, and final handover.
• Maintain proper project records, including drawings, approvals, work orders, measurements, and completion documents.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in residential construction/project management, preferably involving villas, apartments, or high-end residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil, finishing, MEP, and interior construction activities.
• Experience in managing contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and site teams.
• Good understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, BOQs, billing, and quantity estimation.
