Project Engineer

Project Engineers’ Duties and Responsibilities

· Assist project managers in establishing project goals and objectives, procedures, data collection techniques, and standards to be achieved while staying within the bounds of company policy.

· Prepare the necessary updates for the construction activities and analyze the required workforce and equipment.

· Establish and implement appropriate testing procedures to keep track of project performance.

· Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure that requirements are met, and promptly notify all supervisors and subcontractors of any changes to the construction schedule.

· Maintain oversight of the project's budget, schedule, and database, and report regularly to the project manager to keep them up to date on job progress, plans, and issues that could significantly affect costs or schedules.

· Control the standards and requirements for compliance, quality assurance, and specifications.

Project Engineers’ Skills and Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

· Proven working experience as a Project Engineer, or project planning experience (scope, schedule, cost, quality)

· Proven computer platform experience

· Strong field management experience

· Advanced MS Office skills

· Strong working knowledge of design software, including AutoCAD and CAD/CAM Circuit Design

· Professional Engineer license

· Proven understanding of compliance and quality assurance guidelines and best practices

· Previous experience with database design and development
