Biosite Medical Instruments, Inc. is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Project Coordinator / Project Engineer to support and oversee healthcare infrastructure and medical facility projects. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in hospital construction, healthcare facility planning, medical equipment installation support, or engineering project coordination.

The successful candidate will help ensure that infrastructure projects are properly planned, coordinated, monitored, and delivered in compliance with Department of Health standards, hospital requirements, safety regulations, and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

As Project Coordinator / Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Managing and monitoring healthcare infrastructure and facility-related projects from planning to turnover

Coordinating with architects, contractors, suppliers, medical equipment providers, and internal stakeholders

Reviewing and validating engineering plans, layouts, technical drawings, and project requirements

Ensuring compliance with DOH standards, hospital regulations, building codes, and safety requirements

Monitoring project timelines, budgets, deliverables, site progress, and quality of work

Conducting site inspections, project audits, progress evaluations, and coordination meetings

Supporting infrastructure requirements for specialized medical equipment and facilities such as Cath Lab, MRI, CT Scan, diagnostic imaging areas, and other medical equipment installations

Coordinating requirements related to HVAC, electrical systems, radiation protection, RF shielding, room readiness, utilities, and other technical support systems

Assisting in hospital waste management system planning and compliance monitoring

Identifying project risks, technical issues, and operational concerns, and recommending corrective actions

Preparing project reports, documentation, compliance records, and status updates for management review

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or any related field

Licensed Engineer is an advantage

With at least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in project coordination, construction, facilities management, hospital infrastructure, or medical facility projects

Experience in healthcare, hospital, diagnostic center, or medical equipment installation projects is highly preferred

Knowledge of DOH standards, hospital compliance requirements, construction safety, and facility readiness standards is an advantage

Experience handling or coordinating projects involving Cath Lab, MRI, CT Scan, diagnostic imaging modalities, or medical equipment installations is a strong plus

Background in hospital waste management systems or healthcare environmental compliance is an advantage

Strong coordination, leadership, communication, and project management skills

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple project requirements and stakeholders

Willing to conduct site inspections and travel as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
