Project Engineer

We are looking for an accountable Senior Project Engineer to be responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines that projects involve. You will schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the project activities aiming at assuring site progress, accuracy and quality from conception to completion.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare, schedule, coordinate, monitor and manage the assigned manpower and subcontractors.
• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
• Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
• Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
• Assign responsibilities and mentor project team
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with project team, manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
• Engage in and provide Engineering Solutions, drawings, material submittals and MEP Cordination
• Site Supervision including manpower and subcotractors

Requirements and skills

• Proven working experience as a Project Engineer with a minimum of 10 Years GCC experience, the last 5 years in UAE.
• Excellent knowledge of design and visualisations software such as AutoCAD
• Advanced MS Office skills
• Familiar with rules, regulations, best practices, performance standards with hands on experience implementing the regulations at site inline with the local authorities of UAE
• Experience in Implementing HSE regulations at site.
• Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
• Project management and supervision skills
• Decision making ability and leadership skills
• Current engineer license
• Driving license with own car.
• BS degree in Civil Engineering

Project Engineer must have a combination of good organizational skills and engineering knowledge to be successful. You should also have excellent communication abilities to ensure the delivery of essential project information to the correct parties also have good time management to meet critical project deadlines.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
