Project Engineer

Power Sub Link SA (“PSL”) is a leading provider of subsea engineering and marine services worldwide, delivering turnkey solutions for subsea cable and offshore infrastructure projects. PSL is seeking a Project Engineer to join our team and support the engineering, planning and execution of marine and offshore projects.

We are looking for a junior to mid-level engineer with a background in Marine or Mechanical Engineering, strong engineering and design capabilities, a practical, hands-on approach, and a strong QHSE mindset.

The role combines office-based engineering and design activities with field and offshore involvement. The successful candidate should therefore be comfortable working in a dynamic project environment and willing to travel to project sites and work on board vessels when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the engineering, planning and execution of marine and offshore projects.
• Prepare and review 2D and 3D technical drawings, models and engineering documentation.
• Support the development of technical solutions and engineering designs according to project requirements.
• Prepare and review technical calculations, specifications, method statements, work plans and project procedures.
• Support the design and engineering of equipment, arrangements and systems required for project execution.
• Assist in the preparation of project methodologies and offshore installation procedures.
• Review client requirements, technical specifications and drawings.
• Provide engineering support during project preparation, mobilisation and offshore execution.
• Participate in field and offshore operations, providing technical support during project execution.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineering and Operations teams, vessel personnel, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project progress and assist in identifying and resolving technical and operational issues.
• Support the preparation of technical reports, project documentation and final deliverables.
• Ensure that engineering and field activities are performed in accordance with project requirements and applicable QHSE standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Junior to mid-level professional experience in engineering, design, project engineering or a related technical role.
• Strong engineering and technical design skills.
• Good understanding of 2D and 3D design and modelling.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with SOLIDWORKS, Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D mechanical design software.
• Knowledge of OrcaFlex would be considered a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of engineering simulation and analysis, including time-domain and frequency-domain methods, would be considered an advantage but is not required.
• Ability to read, interpret and prepare technical drawings, layouts, specifications and engineering documentation.
• Previous exposure to marine, offshore, construction or field operations would be considered an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong QHSE mindset and awareness, particularly in relation to marine, offshore and field operations.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of multidisciplinary project teams.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site and/or on board vessels when required.
• Currently based in Greece.
