Project Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Solar Project Engineer to plan, coordinate, and supervise solar PV projects from site preparation through installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.

The role involves overseeing site activities, coordinating contractors and internal teams, ensuring quality and safety standards, and supporting the successful delivery of residential, commercial, and industrial solar PV projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate solar PV projects from design to commissioning.
• Supervise day-to-day site activities and solar PV installation works.
• Ensure work is carried out according to project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress, schedules, and site milestones.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Provide technical support and assist in resolving site and installation issues.
• Support procurement and material coordination with technical input.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements, CIDB requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Assist with testing, commissioning, project handover, and defect rectification.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and progress updates.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in solar PV projects or related engineering/construction work.
• Fresh graduates with relevant solar PV knowledge, training, internship, or project experience are encouraged to apply.
• Good knowledge of solar PV systems, installation, and site practices.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, PVsyst, HelioScope, and Microsoft Office.
• Good project coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• CIDB Green Card is an added advantage.
• Willing to travel to project sites across Malaysia.
• Possess own transport and a valid driving licence

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,900.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
