Project Engineer

About the role

Project engineering management role involving preparation, scheduling, coordination and monitoring of assigned engineering projects, with responsibility for qualitative and quantitative analyses, document control, technical support, and cross-departmental coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
• Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses according to customer requirements
• Review, distribute, coordinate and control project related documents and sample submission
• Document all necessary data, acceptance and implementation procedures and all activities required for the project
• Provide technical support in solving product quality problems and ensure product quality and capacity is achieved according to requirements and plan
• Provide reports to department manager regarding project progress and project status
• Coordinate with all internal department for all project requirements before start of production

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in mechanical-related or technical related discipline or a Diploma with equivalent years of experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project engineering management
• Mechanical product or Molding related process experience is an added advantage
• Taking initiative to coordinate projects and good project management skills
• An independent fast learner with a keenness to learn
• Strong time management skills and analytical skills
• Willing to work under pressure
• Effective communication skills with external stakeholders
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities
