About the role

We are seeking a proactive Project Engineer to support the Project Manager in delivering prestressing projects efficiently. You will help plan schedules, monitor site progress, and resolve issues early to avoid delays or cost overruns. The role involves coordinating with site teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors, leading coordination meetings, and managing budgets and resources. You will also handle reporting, documentation, and contribute to process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for smooth project delivery
• Monitor site progress and quality, anticipate challenges, and propose solutions to prevent delays or cost overruns
• Coordinate with site teams, office staff, clients, consultants, and subcontractors
• Take ownership of specific project tasks and lead coordination meetings
• Track budgets, resources, and variations to ensure cost efficiency
• Prepare reports, maintain documentation, and contribute to process improvements

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in construction projects
• Fresh graduates, or 1 - 3 years of experience are also welcome to apply
• Possess own transport and valid driving license
• Able to work extended hours when project deadlines require
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, method statements, and site coordination
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Resilient and adaptable under tight deadlines and changing site conditions
