Project Engineer

About the role

To support the Technical Department in engineering design, technical problem-solving, project execution and product development, ensuring that technical projects meet customer specifications, quality standards and delivery requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and project documentation.
• Use SolidWorks and other CAD software to develop, modify and update engineering drawings and 3D models.
• Provide technical support for product design, engineering development and manufacturing activities.
• Coordinate with Production, QA/QC, Sales, Purchasing and other departments to ensure projects meet technical requirements.
• Review customer requirements and prepare technical proposals, drawings and related documentation.
• Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and recommend appropriate engineering solutions.
• Monitor project progress, technical deliverables and completion schedules.
• Conduct site visits to customer premises or project sites to assess technical requirements, inspect site conditions and gather information for engineering solutions.
• Perform on-site measurements, technical inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Conduct technical assessments and support product testing, inspection and quality improvement activities.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic, Mechatronics or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in engineering, technical project coordination or a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD or other CAD software.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to understand technical concepts and translate requirements into practical engineering solutions.
• Good communication, teamwork and organizational skills.
• Willing to learn and work closely with the Technical and Production teams.
