Project Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our dynamic team at A. L. Salazar Construction, Inc. in Pandi, Bulacan. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our civil and structural engineering projects. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing project execution, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring that all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. Your technical expertise and problem-solving abilities will be essential to the seamless progression of our construction initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day project operations and coordinate with site teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project delivery

• Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress to verify compliance with design specifications, plans, and quality standards

• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including daily reports, progress records, material testing results, and construction schedules

• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies at all times

• Oversee material quality control and testing procedures, managing material delivery and proper storage on-site

• Coordinate with project management to track budgets, costs, and resource allocation throughout the

• Support the planning and logistics of project activities, including scheduling, site layout, and equipment deployment

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering

• With at least 2 to 3 years of experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar civil/structural engineering role in the construction industry. Fresh graduates with relevant internship/OJT experience are also encouraged to apply.

• Strong knowledge of civil and structural engineering principles, construction methods, and building codes

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, plans, and technical specifications

• Excellent organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Sound understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations in the construction industry

• Preferably with a COSH and BOSH or other relevant certifications

• Experience with quality assurance and quality control processes is highly valued
