Project Engineer (AV & UC System)

To support multiple project sites in Singapore and Regional. The ideal candidate willhave strong proficiency in audio visual (AV) system diagnostics and a goodgrasp in unified communications (UC).

KeyResponsibilities:
Providepost-sale maintenance experience to customers.

Plan,schedule and execute preventive maintenance with customers to ensure systemreliability and take ownership in executing corrective actions upon clientapproval.

Performremote/onsite diagnostics to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve existing orpotential faults within AV and VC integrated systems

Providepost-installation support such as remote/onsite technical assistance, firmwareupdates, and/or configuration changes.

Coordinatewith end users, product suppliers and vendors to resolve technical productissues promptly and within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA). E.g. RMAprocess.

Delivertimely, accurate, and well-documented service reports following everymaintenance or troubleshooting engagement.

Identify,indicate, and assist in changes accrued to schematics, BOM list, and otherrelevant materials discovered during site evaluations.

Evaluatethe severity and risk of technical challenges, escalating to manufacturers orprincipals when issues exceed internal capacity.

Supportpost-commissioning activities such as end-user trainings, material development,documenting accurately on handover and taking over of functioning systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
NITEC or Diploma in AV / Electronics / IT / Electrical or related discipline.

Min 1-2 years

of experience in operation, engineering and/or installation/maintenance of AV systems.

Preferablyto have general knowledge of AV products (e.g. Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Crestron,Extron, Kramer, Polycom, Cisco Telepresence, Logitech, Biamp and QSYS)

Knowledgeof AV & IT technologies (e.g. TCP/IP, Networking, Dante, AVB, SDVOE, H.264,H.323, MPEG, EDID, HDCP)

Ability to communicate effectively with Chinese business partners.
