About the role

We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our team in the Tagore North-East Region. This is a full-time position that offers a valuable opportunity to contribute to the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, liaising between design, construction, and client stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery and technical excellence.

Key responsibilities

1. Coordinate and oversee project activities, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful on-time and on-budget delivery
2. Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including drawings, specifications, reports, and technical records
3. Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards
4. Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal team members
5. Identify and resolve technical issues and conflicts that arise during project execution
6. Perform calculations, analysis, and feasibility assessments to support project planning and design decisions
7. Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards
8. Assist in preparing project proposals, cost estimates, and technical specifications
9. Support senior engineers and project managers in the successful completion of assigned projects

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline
2. 2-4 years' post-graduate experience in project engineering or a closely related field; experience with glass, aluminum, steel, preformed panes, and other exterior facades.
3. Strong understanding of engineering principles, design standards, and construction methodologies
4. Proficiency with relevant engineering software and project management tools
5. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
7. Attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy in all work
8. Problem-solving capabilities and the ability to think critically and analytically
9. Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental requirements in engineering projects
10. Willingness to undertake site visits and fieldwork as required.
