Job Description:

World Legend Contracting L.L.C. is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team for a high-rise tower project in Business Bay, Dubai.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating construction activities, supervising site engineers and subcontractors, monitoring project progress, and ensuring that all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate daily construction activities across multiple work fronts.
• Supervise site engineers, supervisors, foremen, subcontractors, and site manpower.
• Ensure construction works are executed according to approved shop drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Coordinate Civil, Structural, Architectural, and MEP activities to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project schedules, manpower allocation, productivity, and construction progress.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project management teams.
• Identify and resolve technical, operational, and site-related issues.
• Ensure materials, equipment, manpower, and approved drawings are available before commencing activities.
• Monitor structural, blockwork, waterproofing, plastering, screed, tiling, ceiling, façade, and finishing activities.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams regarding WIRs, inspections, NCRs, and quality compliance.
• Attend site coordination meetings and prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
• Identify potential delays and implement corrective measures to maintain project schedules.
• Coordinate with planning and technical departments regarding construction priorities and engineering requirements.
• Ensure compliance with project safety procedures and quality standards.
• Support snagging, rectification works, inspections, and final project handover.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering – Mandatory.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in building construction and project execution.
• Proven experience in high-rise building construction projects.
• Previous experience working with a main contractor.
• Strong knowledge of Civil, Structural, Architectural, and finishing works.
• Experience supervising site engineers, subcontractors, and construction teams.
• Ability to read and interpret IFC drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and construction details.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and project coordination.
• Experience monitoring project schedules, manpower productivity, and site progress.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple construction activities simultaneously.
• UAE construction experience is strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in high-rise residential or mixed-use tower projects.
• Experience managing interior and finishing works.
• Familiarity with UAE construction standards and authority requirements (DM, DDA, Trakhees, etc.).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software.
• Immediate joiners will be given preference.
