Project Engineer

Are you an experienced Project Engineer with strong technical knowledge and extensive site experience in interior fit-out and construction projects?

Bestro Global Sdn Bhd is looking for a Project Engineer to join our growing team in Kuala Lumpur.

If you have 8+ years of relevant experience, are proficient in CAD and technical drawings, and can communicate effectively in Mandarin, English and Malay, we would love to hear from you!

Location: Kuala Lumpur
Employment Type: Full-time
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Report to the Project Manager and follow project instructions.
• Coordinate construction activities, technical matters, quality control, progress monitoring and site safety.
• Prepare construction method statements and conduct technical briefings and site instructions.
• Coordinate with the Quantity Surveyor on project-related matters.
• Attend project meetings and prepare construction schedules, progress reports and daily site reports.
• Supervise site personnel, enforce safety and quality standards, and address non-compliant practices.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Project Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Interior Fit-Out, Construction or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience.
• Strong understanding of interior fit-out, installation standards and construction specifications.
• Proficient in CAD and related design software, with the ability to prepare detailed shop drawings.
• Good knowledge of construction materials and extensive site experience.
• Good command of Mandarin, English and Malay, both spoken and written.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving and site management skills.
