Project Engineer

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership and Design:

  • Lead the design, analysis, and development of electrical systems, including power distribution, CCTV ,, EV Charger Set Up , grounding, low/medium/high-voltage systems, emergency power, renewable integrations, and related studies (e.g., load flow, short circuit, arc flash, harmonics, coordination).
  • Prepare, review, update, and approve electrical design plans, drawings, specifications, single-line diagrams, riser diagrams, cable schedules, equipment layouts, and reports.
  • Perform detailed engineering calculations, feasibility studies, existing system assessments, and optimizations for energy efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.

• Project Management and Coordination:

  • Manage electrical projects from inception to completion, including defining scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Develop project plans, estimates, timelines, and cash flow forecasts; monitor progress to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architects, mechanical/civil/structural engineers, contractors, subcontractors, clients, vendors, and utilities).
  • Liaise with stakeholders, clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies; conduct technical discussions, meetings, and presentations.

• Construction and Field Support:

  • Provide construction administration, including site inspections, observation, commissioning, startup support, and troubleshooting.
  • Review submittals, shop drawings, contractor work, and change orders for compliance.
  • Identify, mitigate, and resolve risks, issues, or deviations during execution.

• Team Leadership and Mentorship:

  • Supervise, mentor, and guide junior engineers, designers, and technicians; delegate tasks and ensure quality control (QA/QC).
  • Oversee and develop technical competence within the electrical engineering team.
  • May serve as lead engineer or project manager on multi-discipline or complex projects.

• Business and Quality Aspects:

  • Support business development through proposals, client meetings, networking, and relationship building.
  • Prepare reports, cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and documentation for bids or internal use.
  • Analyze processes for improvements, conduct quality assurance, and ensure high standards of safety and performance.
