What they need
JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for project engineering tasks on mine ventilation and refrigeration design-build projects across all phases of the projects.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Planning and design integration across all disciplines
- Equipment specification
- Cost estimation and tendering
- Vendor selection and procurement
- Site inspections and contractor engineering support
- Commissioning of equipment, handover to client
- Project management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:
- BSc/BEng Mechanical Engineering
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
4 – 6 years’ experience within a mining/industrial/consulting engineering environment on design and construction projects, including experience in:
- HVAC/thermal engineering
- Mechanical engineering
- Project Management
- Standard forms of contract (FIDIC/NEC/GCC)
- Working knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act and the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- People and business management

Pay: Up to R1 400 000,00 per year
