Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor lift and elevator projects from commencement to completion.
• Prepare and update the Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule to monitor project timelines, milestones, and progress.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress, site activities, manpower, and material deliveries.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure work is carried out according to project requirements and safety standards.
• Prepare project progress reports, site reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant documentation.
• Identify project delays, technical issues, and site constraints, and propose suitable solutions.
• Attend site meetings and provide regular updates to management and clients.
• Coordinate installation activities and ensure projects are completed within the agreed timeline.
• Monitor project costs, variations, and other project-related matters.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and final handover of completed projects.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in project engineering, project coordination, or lift and elevator projects will be an advantage.
• Ability to prepare, understand, and monitor a CPM (Critical Path Method) schedule.
• Good planning, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Fast learner, willing to learn, and able to adapt to new tasks and challenges.
• Responsible, proactive, organised, and detail-oriented.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Willing to travel to project sites when required.
• Fresh graduates with the right attitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,300.00 per month
