Project Engineer

Don't just hand off the design. See it built. We're looking for a hands-on engineer ready to own industrial projects from the first scope to the final installation.

Job Summary

We're hiring a Project Engineer for a fully onsite role in Sinton, Texas. You'll take ownership of industrial capital projects involving equipment, utilities, filtration systems, storage tanks, and facilities, working with engineering firms, contractors, and plant teams to turn plans into completed installations.

This is not a role where you handle one phase and pass the project along. You'll help define the scope, coordinate design, bid the work, select equipment, manage purchasing, and stay involved through construction and implementation. We need someone who brings initiative, practical experience, and the motivation to see the whole job through.

What You'll Do

• Take industrial capital projects from initial scope through installation, maintaining ownership across the engineering, purchasing, and construction phases.

• Work with engineering firms and plant teams to develop designs and project scopes that address equipment, utility, and facility needs.

• Bid project work, evaluate equipment options, and coordinate purchasing to move plans toward execution.

• Coordinate contractors and engineering partners throughout construction and implementation, staying hands-on as the work progresses.

• Support projects across the plant, applying practical problem-solving to a varied mix of equipment, filtration, storage, utility, and building improvements.

What You'll Bring

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline

• Hands-on project experience with completed projects. Approximately three to four years of experience and roughly four to five completed projects

• Self-starter with high energy, strong motivation, and the ability to work independently.

• Willingness and ability to take ownership of a project through its full scope, from initial planning through construction and installation.

• Experience with project scope, design, bidding, equipment selection, purchasing, construction, and installation is a plus.

• Experience coordinating engineering firms and contractors on industrial or manufacturing projects involving equipment, utilities, filtration, storage tanks, or facilities is preferred.

We offer an annual base salary of $80,000-$90,000, eligibility for a performance-based bonus with a 20% target, paid quarterly, and relocation assistance.
