JOB SUMMARY

Safe House Fire Engineering Services is looking for a Design, Estimation & Project Coordination Engineer to support the design, estimation, planning, and coordination of fire protection projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of fire fighting systems, BOQ preparation, estimation, costing, AutoCAD drawings, material take-off, and project coordination.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities), estimates, and project costing for fire fighting projects.
• Prepare Material Take-Off (MTO) from engineering and AutoCAD drawings.
• Study, interpret, and review Fire Fighting / MEP drawings and technical specifications.
• Prepare accurate technical and commercial quotations.
• Prepare project-wise material requirements and cost estimates.
• Provide design and estimation support for Hydrant, Sprinkler, Fire Pump & Fire Alarm Systems.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, vendors, procurement, and site execution teams.
• Coordinate between Design, Estimation, Procurement & Project Execution departments.
• Conduct site visits, measurements, inspections, and technical assessments as required.
• Review project drawings, specifications, BOQ, and site requirements.
• Monitor project progress and coordinate with concerned teams for timely project completion.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, measurement sheets, reports, and work completion records.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the execution team whenever required.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Strong knowledge of Fire Fighting & Fire Protection Systems
• Excellent understanding of BOQ, Estimation, Costing & MTO
• Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD / MEP Drawings
• Good knowledge of MS Excel & MS Office
• Knowledge of Hydrant, Sprinkler, Fire Pump & Fire Alarm Systems
• Good technical, communication & coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel for project/site visits

ELIGIBILITY / PREFERRED CANDIDATE

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with experience in Fire Fighting, Fire Protection, MEP, Design, Estimation, Costing, or Project Coordination.

Experience: 1–5 Years Preferred
Salary: As per experience, knowledge & skills
