Project Engineer

• He is the preferred technical contact for stakeholders in the projects assigned to him.
• studies and analyzes all technical documentation provided by internal/external stakeholders.
• It searches for missing information, reports problems to stakeholders, and makes appropriate assumptions in order to find the best possible technical solution.
• After the engineering manager approves the proposed solution, consult the equipment documentation to allocate the appropriate equipment.
• Provides or produces all the required technical documentation and calculations necessary to illustrate and justify the technical solution to stakeholders and defines the technical resources necessary to do so.
• Liaises with other members of the engineering team to improve the quality, efficiency and accuracy of technical documents.
• Attends technical meetings, site inspections, and on-site operations as needed. Assists stakeholders with technical issues before and during execution to ensure the successful implementation of the technical solution.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Engineering degree in civil engineering.
• General knowledge of word processing software (MS Office).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD. Inventor would be an asset.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Driving license.
• A good technical background.
• A first experience in a design office.
• Able to travel within the national territory.
