Responsibilities as Construction Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager are similar to draftsmen:

• Responsible for BIM modeling and coordinating with GC

• Read and understand the contract and specifications of projects

• Communicate with suppliers and collect product data sheets for submittal

• Create rebar shop drawings per structural drawings using AutoCAD

• Create concrete layout drawings per structural and architectural drawings using AutoCAD

• Recognize discrepancies between drawings and notify management

• Communicate with job site team members to convey and document their Request For Information

Required Work Experience:

• This is an entry level position, familiarity with concrete construction projects and job sites are necessary. 1 to 3 years of experience is acceptable.

Skills:

• Advanced knowledge in computer and office equipment is required

• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office products specially Word and Excel is required

• Advanced knowledge in 2D modelling with AutoCAD for construction is required

• Advanced knowledge in 3D modelling with Revit for concrete is required

• Advanced understanding of design drawings i.e. Architectural, Civil, Structural drawings is required

Education:

• At least an Associate degree related to buildings, construction, architecture or engineering is required. Bachelors or Masters degree in relevant fields is a plus.
