Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Review project scope, drawings and specifications.
• Conduct site surveys and prepare load calculations, equipment selection and basic shop drawings.
• Prepare project schedules, material requirements and manpower plans.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and internal departments.
• Conduct site surveys and prepare load calculations, equipment selection and basic shop drawings.
• Supervise installation, testing and commissioning of HVAC systems
• Ensure work follows approved drawings, Qatar regulations and manufacturer standards.
• Prepare BOQs, quotations and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with procurement for material and equipment purchasing and delivery.
• Monitor project costs and report variations.
• Maintain project files: drawings, material submittals, test reports, as-builts, handover documents.
• Support invoicing, progress claims and client payment follow-up.
• Be the technical point of contact for clients during the project.
• Coordinate warranty and maintenance issues after handover.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 3 to 5 years of experience in HVAC projects, preferably in Qatar or the GCC.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of HAP or other load calculation tools is an advantage.
• Valid Qatar driving license (preferred).

Pay: QAR20.13 - QAR93.72 per month
