Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Supervision & Coordination: Monitor daily progress on-site to ensure work aligns with construction/shop drawings and contract documents. Coordination with designers/main-contractors/subcontractors for on-site installation works. Carry out site inspections for work done.
• Progress & Scheduling: Track project milestones, address daily site issues, monitor materials/equipment for installation/order.
• Subcontractor & Supplier Liaison: Coordinate work sequences with sub-contractors and manage material deliveries and site logistics.
• Quality & Safety: Ensure site activities meet safety requirements and required quality standards before handover.
• Document & Submittal: Prepare and track technical submittals, material samples, Request for Information (RFI) logs, and site progress photos/reports for client or consultant approval.
• Testing, Commissioning & Handover: Assist in testing systems on-site, rectifying defect lists, and compiling as-built drawings and operation manuals for final project handover.
• Cost & Claim Verification: Assist in verifying work done on-site to prepare progress claims to client and vice versa from subcontractors.

Key Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering (IT, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical). Fresh Graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Practical experience managing site operations, subcontractors, and schedules.
• Knowledge in IT infrastructure, networking hardware/software and wireless communications, ELV such as CCTV, Card Access System, etc. is preferred.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal organization skills.
• Computer Literacy: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and CAD software
• Mobility & Flexibility: Possess a valid driving license and own transport, willing to travel to project sites as required.
