Project Engineer - Construction & Engineering (Contract)

The Project Engineer assists the Project Manager in any of the areas broadly described below (the specific responsibilities are determined by the Project Manager as he deems appropriate) and any other tasks that the Company shall assign to him from time to time:

Responsibilities:

• Planning, coordinating, and managing civil & structural engineering projects from inception through to completion.

• Liaising with Clients, Subcontractors, Consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives are clearly defined and communicated.

• Liaising with relevant authorities, attending meetings, and managing reports and document submissions for work permits.

• Producing detailed design documentation, drawings, and specifications in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.

• Conducting site inspections and surveys to assess project requirements and identify potential challenges.

• Monitoring project progress, timelines and budgets, providing regular updates to Project Manager.

• Ensuring compliance with all safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Facilitate technical discussions with internal teams to review deliverables and implement corrective actions when required.

• Carry out other job assignments as and when required by the Project Manager.

  Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering field.

• Familiar with ACAD, BIM, PLAXIS and STAAD.

• Strong coordination, communication and stakeholder management skills.
