Project Engineer (Consumer Electronics / Audio & Wireless Products)

Role Overview

As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in the end-to-end development of new consumer electronics products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in Hong Kong and Mainland China to ensure projects are delivered on time, at scale, and in alignment with quality, safety, and cost targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engineering development of new products from initial concept through mass production
• Ensure product designs meet manufacturability, cost, quality, and regulatory requirements
• Support development of advanced consumer electronics, particularly in audio, wireless connectivity, and complex integrated systems
• Work with suppliers and factory partners on tooling, injection molding, and production readiness
• Coordinate with packaging teams on structural concepts and product documentation (manuals, instructions)
• Collaborate across sales, operations, and packaging functions to ensure seamless execution
• Travel regularly to manufacturing sites in Mainland China to support builds, testing, and launch preparation

Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electronic engineering project development, ideally within consumer electronics
• Strong understanding of product development and manufacturing processes, with exposure to Mainland China operations
• Knowledge of injection molding and tooling fundamentals
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment
• Fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools

Preferred Skills

• Experience with audio systems, wireless technologies, or highly integrated consumer products
• Software development or embedded systems exposure is an advantage
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator for packaging and documentation support

Pay: Up to $25,000.00 per month
