Job Description & Requirements

Duties & Responsibilities:

●    Assisting the preparation and interpretation of specifications, drawings, and regulations for M&E services and installations.

●    Conducting engineering calculations required for project design.

●    Monitoring site progress and reporting updates to the Project Manager.

●    Coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors on technical matters, including method statements, drawings, and material submissions.

●    Prepare method statements, shop drawings, T&C documents, QA/QC check sheets, and progress reports for M&E works.

●    Ensuring quality and timely installation of M&E works as per approved shop drawings and schedules.

●    Participating in project coordination meetings to ensure smooth workflow.

●    Ensuring compliance with local and international standards, codes, and safety regulations.

●    Overseeing daily site work and contractor activities.

●    Performing testing and commissioning of M&E installations.

●    Liaising with relevant authorities, subcontractors, consultants and clients on shop drawings, equipment submissions, inspections, testing, and commissioning requirements.

●    Carrying out any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant site-based experience in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) installations, EPC projects, or the construction industry.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic project environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and document management systems.
• Fluent in English. Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage to facilitate communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural, and team-oriented environment.
