Project Engineer (Developer Experience)

Project Engineer – UAE

Location: Dubai, UAE

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations and ensure progress aligns with the approved project schedule and baseline.
• Monitor planned vs. actual progress and proactively identify potential delays in construction or material procurement.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, procurement, and site teams.
• Ensure construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and UAE requirements.
• Manage project documentation, including drawings, permits, progress reports, inspections, and records.
• Identify and resolve technical, construction, and coordination issues promptly.
• Monitor the procurement lifecycle, including orders, invoices, deliveries, loading/unloading, material inspection, and quality control.
• Ensure procured materials meet approved specifications and are available in line with the project programme.
• Report key milestones, progress, risks, challenges, and potential delays to the Line Manager.
• Ensure quality requirements are consistently implemented across procurement, drawings, and site execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Engineer in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, UAE regulations, and quality standards.
• Experience in project progress monitoring, procurement coordination, and site management.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Strong communication, coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• UAE construction experience is preferred
