Project Engineer (Development)

Key Responsibilities

• Automation & Industry Architecture: Design and develop advanced automation architectures based on manufacturing processes and industry standards.
• System Integration (OT/IT/IoT): Lead the integration of IoT devices and data platforms to enable "Smart Factory" capabilities by bridging Operations Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT).
• Process Optimization: Analyze production lines to identify bottlenecks and develop technical solutions to improve efficiency through data-driven insights.
• Prototype & PoC Development: Create proof-of-concepts for complex systems, ensuring seamless communication between PLCs, SCADA, Databases, and MES/ERP systems.
• System Lifecycle Management: Manage development programs for project replacement, renewal, revamp, upgrade, and modification.

Qualifications

• Education:  Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, specifically in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Electronic fields.

• Experience:  Minimum of 2 years in Automation, System Integration, or Solution Design.

• Language Skills:  Ability to communicate effectively in English.

• Technical Expertise: Basic understanding of industrial systems and a strong problem-solving mindset.

  • Hands-on experience developing programs with Mitsubishi Electric FA products (Special consideration).
  • Familiarity with other FA brands such as Siemens or Keyence.

• Soft Skills:  Strong coordination, teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

• Mobility:  Must have a driving license and be able to travel upcountry for site visits and commissioning activities.
