About Us
Farmed Carbon Thailand is a deep-tech startup developing pyrolysis technology that turns rice straw and rice husk into biochar and carbon-negative construction materials. We run a pilot plant where nearly all of the equipment is designed and built in-house.

About the Role
You will be the lead electrical and control engineer for our factory, working alongside our electrical technician. The role covers the full cycle, from design and wiring to commissioning machines into real operation. You'll split your time between the design desk and the shop floor.

📌 Key Responsibilities

Machine Electrical & Control Systems

• Design power and control systems for rice straw handling equipment (shredding, conveying, compressing, drying) and for the heating systems of our pyrolysis units
• Select components (breakers, contactors, VFDs, sensors, heaters, SSRs, etc.) and design control panels
• Produce single-line diagrams, schematics, and wiring diagrams the technician can build from
• Supervise and take part in wiring, installation, testing, and commissioning
• Set up and tune temperature control, motor control, and safety interlocks

Factory Electrical Infrastructure

• Plan and develop the factory power supply: MDB/DB panels, load distribution, cable and breaker sizing
• Design and improve lighting for production and work areas
• Maintain grounding and earth leakage protection to Thai electrical standards (EIT)
• Coordinate with electrical contractors, review quotations, and inspect completed work

Team & Documentation

• Plan and assign work for the electrical technician, with hands-on coaching
• Keep electrical drawings, bills of materials (BOM), and change records up to date
• Work with the mechanical engineering team from the early design stage of each machine
• Troubleshoot electrical and control issues on running equipment

📌 Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
• 0–3 years of experience in electrical or control system design, installation, or commissioning (new graduates with real project work are welcome)
• Understanding of single-phase and three-phase systems, motor control, VFDs, and sensor wiring
• Able to read and produce electrical drawings (AutoCAD or any similar tool)
• Willing to learn M-Duino (Arduino-based industrial PLC) and industrial automation
• Enjoys hands-on work and isn't afraid to get your hands dirty
• Responsible, a good team player, and eager to learn

Nice to Have

• Thai engineering license (กว.), or preparing for it
• Experience with PLCs, Arduino/ESP32, or heater/temperature control systems
• Background in industrial plants, control panel building, or commissioning
• Good English communication (our management team includes international members)
