Project Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical) – M&E Systems

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the supervisor to develop the overall project plan and construction schedule to ensure that the project is completed according to the established timeline.
• Collaborate with the supervisor to prepare the project budget and control project expenditures within the approved budget, including manpower, equipment, machinery, and construction materials planning.
• Prepare monthly and weekly work plans and establish daily work schedules for subordinates, ensuring that detailed work plans are practical and aligned with the overall project schedule.
• Design, prepare, and establish Shop Drawings as a guideline for preparing drawings and documents for submission to the Owner or the Owner’s representative for approval.
• Summarize the selection of subcontractors and monitor their work performance to ensure compliance with project requirements and schedules.
• Supervise, control, and monitor the performance of employees under responsibility to ensure that construction activities are carried out correctly and in accordance with the project plan.
• Coordinate closely with the Owner or the Owner’s representative and work together to resolve problems and issues that may arise during construction to ensure successful project completion according to schedule.
• Prepare quality inspection and construction work accuracy reports and submit them to the supervisor.
• Monitor and supervise safety operations and ensure compliance with safety requirements to prevent accidents during construction.
• Control and monitor the use of construction materials to ensure that they comply with the approved drawings and specifications, and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports and submit them to the supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
