Project Engineer (Electrical)

What you'll be doing?

• Assist in tender bids: Provide input and guidance to the tender costing estimator team to complete tender bids effectively.
• Liaise with stakeholders: Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and consultants to produce detailed specifications for M&E projects.
• Advise on tender awards: Assist in the tender award process and advise the Project Director on the analysis of award execution plans, schedules, and sub-contractor selection.
• Prepare project claims: Prepare Project Claims and Variation Orders for certification by the Project Director.
• Monitor site works: Ensure sub-contractors and workers conform to specification requirements during ongoing projects.
• Resolve design anomalies: Address and resolve design anomalies between various trades to ensure project continuity.
• Manage projects: Oversee assigned projects and manage a team of project personnel to ensure timely and successful project completion.

Who are they looking for?

• Engineering knowledge: Min 1 year of experience with related Electrical Engineering knowledge in Electrical Systems for Commercial Buildings, Government Offices, and High-End Residential Buildings.
• Electrical & Mechanical background: Min 1 year of experience in Electrical and Mechanical engineering background is essential for this role.
• Concept development: Ability to develop concepts, solutions to problems, and prepare reports.
• Financial experience: Experience in tender and budgeting, including making project claims, sub-con work certification, and interim valuations.
• Self-motivated: Must be self-motivated, patient, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Communication skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration.
• Transport and travel: Must possess own transport and be willing to travel outstation.
