PROJECT ENGINEER (ELECTRICAL)

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and capable Project Engineer (Electrical) to join our team at Ingenious Works International (M) Sdn Bhd, a leading engineering firm based in Selangor. In this full-time role, you will be involved in the execution of electrical engineering projects, supporting project activities from design review and installation to testing, commissioning, and project handover. You will work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Job Description

• Support the execution of electrical engineering projects from design review, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, to project handover.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and submit technical documentation, shop drawings, material submittals, reports, and project updates.
• Assist in resolving technical and site issues, managing project risks, and supporting cost and schedule control.
• Participate in site inspections, testing, commissioning activities, and quality assurance processes.
• Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with HSE requirements.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering or project execution is preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, project management, and industry standards.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
