Project Engineer (Electrical / Mechanical) – 2-Year Contract

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor engineering project activities to ensure completion according to project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and project objectives.
• Coordinate with internal departments, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review and monitor engineering drawings, specifications, technical documents, and construction plans to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Supervise and inspect electrical and mechanical installation works to ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential technical issues or delays, and recommend appropriate solutions to ensure timely project delivery.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager and relevant engineering teams to resolve technical problems and provide engineering support throughout the project.
• Ensure that engineering works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
• Prepare and maintain project reports, progress updates, meeting minutes, and other relevant engineering documentation.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover activities to ensure that all engineering systems are completed and operational as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Minimum 2–7 years of experience in project engineering, construction, or building systems projects.
• Experience in electrical or mechanical engineering systems in commercial buildings, shopping malls, or large-scale construction projects would be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of engineering drawings, specifications, construction processes, and installation works.
• Understanding of project management, quality control, and safety standards.
• Good coordination, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering software.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Able to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and coordinate with various stakeholders.
