Project Engineer (ELV/ M&E / Data Centre/ Structured Cabling) – Up to $5,000

Salary: $3,500 – $5,000 per month
Benefits: AWS + Performance Bonus (approximately 1.5–2 months)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm; Alternate Saturday, 9:00am – 1:00pm
Location: Pioneer / West + Site Visit

Job Summary

We are looking for experienced Project Engineers to support and manage M&E, electrical, ELV, structured cabling and related engineering projects.

The successful candidate will coordinate project activities, liaise with clients and contractors, monitor site progress and ensure works are completed safely, on time and according to required quality standards.

Candidates with experience in M&E, Electrical, ELV, Fibre Optics, Structured Cabling or Data Centre projects are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor M&E / electrical / ELV project works according to project schedules and requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor site progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.
• Review technical, shop and as-built drawings and coordinate drawing-related matters.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure works comply with project specifications and quality standards.
• Identify and resolve technical or site issues to minimise delays.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning activities.
• Ensure works comply with relevant safety requirements and project standards.
• Conduct or participate in toolbox meetings and safety briefings where required.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, progress reports, submissions and claims.
• Assist with project schedules, cost estimates and resource planning.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, manpower and resource utilisation.
• Perform other project-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, M&E Engineering or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant project engineering / coordination experience.

• Candidates with experience in any of the following backgrounds are welcome:

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

• Knowledge of M&E systems, project coordination and construction processes.

• Good understanding of workplace safety requirements and relevant industry standards.

• Able to work effectively with clients, contractors, suppliers and project teams.

• Comfortable working in project and site environments.
