Project Engineer (ELV System / Structured Cabling)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and skilled M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing M&E works, ensuring timely project delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage M&E works, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager
• Review and approve technical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings
• Conduct site inspections and ensure that M&E works comply with project specifications and quality standards
• Identify and resolve technical issues promptly to avoid delays
• Oversee testing and commissioning of M&E systems
• Ensure all M&E works adhere to safety regulations and codes of practice
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, claims, and submissions
• Maintain accurate records of site activities and resource utilization

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years in M&E project management or coordination, preferably in construction projects
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and other project management tools
• Strong technical knowledge of M&E systems and their integration in construction projects
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations
