Project Engineer – Engineering & Construction

Salary: $3,800 – $4,800 | Monday – Friday | 8.30am – 6.00pm
Location: Ubi Road

Job Responsibilities

• Manage engineering projects from project award through installation, commissioning and final handover.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines and resource plans to ensure timely project completion.
• Coordinate with customers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Supervise and coordinate site installation, construction, testing and commissioning activities.
• Monitor project progress, costs and variations while proactively resolving technical and operational issues.
• Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, method statements and other project documentation.
• Coordinate procurement, equipment fabrication, delivery, installation and commissioning schedules.
• Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
• Ensure all project activities comply with safety regulations, quality standards, PTW requirements and company procedures.
• Coordinate engineers, supervisors, technicians, subcontractors and site personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct project meetings with customers, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare project progress reports, cost updates, schedules and management reports.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, schedules, reports, correspondence and project records.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural Engineering or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in project engineering, project coordination, construction, installation or commissioning.

• Experience in industrial engineering, capital equipment, plant construction, process systems, steel structures, water/wastewater treatment or EPC projects will be an advantage.

• Experience in site installation and commissioning is preferred.

• Able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and project documentation.

• Willing to travel to project sites and work outside normal hours, including weekends and public holidays, when required.
